Finding God- the best thing in the world

For many years I have been in and out of my feelings towards my faith. I have been in and out of churches all through high school. I excepted Christ when I was 13 then baptized when I was 21. Sense I was baptized I have been struggling with my faith, I was very valnurable to other peoples beliefs.
This past year I finally saw the light. I went through some pretty horrible things but, it was through these trials and tribulations that God reached out to me and pulled me back to Him. Now, I am clinging to my faith like know other, because its all because of Him that I am now out of that darkness, and have reached such a beautiful spiritual place in my life.
Sense I have come to Christ everything is so much more beautiful, i have been seeing things differently, there is just so much beauty in everything.
Now, I am here to learn and grow in faith and do it all for His glory , and maybe even help people along the way to come to Christ. It was the best decison of my whole life.

  2. Becky, You are a phenomenal woman. I don't feel that there is a "right" religion, faith or especially church. For me, as long as you believe in God the father and in His son, Jesus Christ- that's what matters. I have studied just about every religion as I wanted to know for myself what beliefs were out there and what one I could connect with. I have been educated Catholic, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Jehovah's Witness, Seventh Day Adventist, I even had an on line friend in the middle east send me a Koran so I knew what the Muslim faith was truly about. I now know that most religions, including Muslim- share a lot of the same core beliefs. I choose to believe in the triune God. He is where I feel connected. And that's what I feel about churches, it's all about the connection. You have to have it with the minister and the members. For me, going to church should feel like going home. It should be warm, cozy, loving- and above all, safe. And that's different for everyone. I also don't think that we HAVE to go to church every Sunday. God knows who we are and what we believe. We don't HAVE to do it every sunday at a certain time for Him to bless us. Stay true to who you are and your faith in Him. That's all you need, he'll provide the rest!
